Quality & Testing

Built to Reduce Buyer Risk, Not Just Tick Checkboxes

At Terrakora, quality is not a marketing claim — it is a risk-control system designed for manufacturers, wholesalers, exporters, and audit-facing buyers.

Our quality framework combines field-level screening, batch-wise testing, and documentation discipline to ensure consistency, traceability, and compliance.

Field-Level Quality Controls (First Gate)

Before any ingredient enters aggregation, primary quality checks are done at source or godown intake.

Depending on the ingredient, these include:

  • Refractometer checks (e.g., moisture screening for honey)

  • Electrical Conductivity (EC) measurement (origin & botanical consistency indicators)

  • Visual & sensory inspection (colour, aroma, texture)

  • Moisture checks for herbs, spices, seeds, and fats

This stage filters out high-risk or non-conforming material early, before scale.

Laboratory Testing Process

For buyer-facing batches, Terrakora supports third-party laboratory testing based on requirement and application.

Typical lab parameters include:

  • Physicochemical analysis (moisture, ash, fat values, HMF where applicable)

  • Active compound testing (e.g., curcumin, withanolides, piperine – product dependent)

  • Adulteration markers (as applicable)

  • Basic microbiological screening (on request)

Testing is conducted through FSSAI-recognized / NABL-accredited laboratories.

Compliance Alignment (India & Export)

Terrakora operates with compliance-readiness, not last-minute paperwork.

We support:

  • FSSAI-aligned documentation

  • Batch-level COA availability (where tested)

  • Origin and sourcing declarations

  • Export documentation support (ingredient-dependent)

We do not claim certifications we do not hold — documentation reflects reality.

Batch-Level Traceability

Every supply batch is tracked with:

  • Source region & aggregation cluster

  • Harvest or production window

  • Primary handling & storage conditions

  • Test results (where applicable)

Lots are segregated at godown level to avoid cross-batch contamination or blending.

This enables:

  • Repeatability for buyers

  • Audit confidence

  • Issue isolation if required

Rejection & Non-Conformance Policy

Terrakora maintains a clear rejection framework to protect buyers:

  • Material failing field QC is not aggregated

  • Lab non-conformance leads to batch hold or rejection

  • No forced blending to “average out” defects

  • Buyer-specific specs are respected

Quality failures are addressed at source, not pushed downstream.

What This Means for Buyers

By working with Terrakora, buyers gain:

  • Lower adulteration and substitution risk

  • Predictable batch quality

  • Faster audit and approval cycles

  • Confidence in long-term sourcing

You are not buying blind lots. You are buying from a controlled, documented supply system.
